BERNHARD SACHS

BIOGRAPHY:

 Bernhard Sachs is a Melbourne based artist who has exhibited widely since 1977, both in Australia and overseas. He has been the recipient of numerous grants and residencies, including a residency at Citè International des Arts, Paris (1990) and the PS1/ Institute of Contemporary Art, New York (1993-4).

Sachs holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne (2011) and a Master of Fine Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne (1997). He has lectured in art since 1989 and is currently a lecturer and co-ordinator of the Graduate Coursework Programme and Phd Co-ordinator at the School of Art, Victorian College of the Arts.
