KYLE JENKIN

biography:

Kyle Jenkins was born in Dungog, NSW in 1975. His practice is situated within aspects of conceptual and geometric based abstraction involving painting, collage, photography, objects, books, wall paintings and works on paper. He has exhibited nationally and internationally since 1996. He has a PhD from Sydney College of the Arts (the University of Sydney) and is the coordinator of Visual Arts at the University of Southern Queensland (senior lecturer of painting and art theory).

His work is held in museum and private collections nationally and internationally, and he currently lives and works in Toowoomba, Queensland.
